Will Oakville Swim Academy Cancel lessons last minute?

Yes, there are rare occasions where Oakville Swim Academy may need to cancel swim lessons.
Weather: should it be deemed that it be unsafe for families to be out on the road there may be a potential of classes being cancelled.
Pool Fouling: If there happens to be a pool fouling Oakville Swim Academy is required to close the pool to take appropriate measures to clean the facility to health and safety standards.
Mechanical Problems: If there is a reason a pump malfunctioned or our emergency phone system is down we are required to shut down operation until back in proper working order.
For any reason that OSA determines that classes will be cancelled a make-up class will be offered and this class does not go against our Make-Up Policy.
We ask parents to go into the parent portal and mark off that they can receive incoming texts. If we need to cancel we will text you as soon as possible to avoid you driving in if unnecessary.
